Who is Miles Morales?
Miles Morales is the second Spider-Man of the Marvel universe, first appearing in the comics in 2011. A Brooklyn teenager, he inherits Spider-Man's powers after being bitten by a radioactive spider. He has two unique abilities: the venom blast (an electric discharge) and camouflage. Brought to a wider audience by Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in 2018, he is now one of the best-loved Marvel characters in the world.

Peter Parker is the original Spider-Man, created in 1962. Miles Morales is a more recent version (2011), younger and from Brooklyn. Miles has two powers Peter does not: the venom blast and camouflage. The two characters coexist in the Marvel multiverse and have even met in Across the Spider-Verse.
