Every Spider-Man skin in Fortnite in one table

Spider-Man didn't arrive in Fortnite all at once. Between December 2021 and July 2026, 12 spider-hero skins entered the game, all filed under the 'Marvel Series' rarity. Some were earned in a season's battle pass, the others bought with V-Bucks in the shop. Read this table as a history, not as today's shop window. The shop refreshes every night, at 02:00 Paris time in summer and 01:00 in winter, and Epic publishes no schedule. The latest appearances on record run from 28/02/2025, for No Way Home, Miles Morales, Spider-Man 2099 and the December 2024 trio, to 16/08/2026 for Brand New Day. None of these skins is guaranteed to be on sale today.

The hero didn't come alone. Venom came first: his skin entered the shop on 21/11/2020, and Carnage followed in a battle pass in September 2021. Next came the Green Goblin in January 2022, the Prowler in April 2022, then Black Cat, She-Venom and Mysterio in 2024. The page on the characters of the Spider-Man universe helps place them. One last trap: 'Spider Knight', released in Chapter 1, is an Epic creation, not a Marvel Spider-Man.

2021: the classic Spider-Man from the pass, then the No Way Home one

The first playable Spider-Man arrives on 05/12/2021, at the launch of Chapter 3 Season 1, named 'Flipped'. You cannot buy him: he unlocks in the battle pass, sold at 950 V-Bucks, on page 9, for 9 Battle Stars. His in-game description: 'Your friendly neighbourhood spider, plain and simple.' Page 10, the last of the pass, holds the Symbiote Suit style, which takes up the black costume from the comics.

This skin has 6 styles: the base Spider-Man, the Symbiote Suit and 4 bonus Rewards, on pages 2 to 5 (Future Foundation, Photo Negative, Scarlet Look, Golden Reality). According to Dexerto, you had to go past level 100 to unlock them all. On page 10, the Web-Drop glider and the Web-Hammer pickaxe completed the set. These styles only exist on screen; to keep a classic Spider-Man in sight, Spider-Man figures make the link.

On 17/12/2021, 12 days later, a second Spider-Man enters the shop at 01:00 Paris time, in the middle of Winterfest 2021, for the release of the film No Way Home. He takes Tom Holland's features and costs 1,500 V-Bucks, or 2,300 V-Bucks in the 'No Way Home' bundle. His built-in emote, 'I'm taking off my mask', removes or puts back the mask mid-match. MJ arrives the same day, at the same price. This Spider-Man returned to the shop up to 28/02/2025; the classic one, never.

2022: Spider-Man Zero and Spider-Gwen, between comic book and pass

The next version was born on paper. On 08/06/2022, issue 1 of 'Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War' was published, a comic in 5 issues; that printed issue 1 contained a code to unlock 'Spider-Man Zero'. Other players saw him arrive in the shop on 17/06/2022, at 1,500 V-Bucks on his own or 1,800 V-Bucks in a bundle. His back bling, the Spider-Drone, is included; the Web-Slicer pickaxe and the 'Spider-Man Flip' emote are sold separately.

On 18/09/2022, Chapter 3 Season 4, named 'Paradise', opens with Spider-Gwen on page 10, the last of the battle pass, for 9 Battle Stars. She has never been sold in the shop. Her in-game description sets the tone: 'Right, let me take you through it from the start one last time.' Her bonus styles are called Gwen Stacy, Celestial, Spectral and Amber. For a young fan, these 2 skins raise the same question: how do you find the character off screen? For Gwen, with the battle pass closed, the costume is the most direct route. 2023: Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2099 arrive with the Spider-Verse

On 23/05/2023, during Chapter 4 Season 2, Fortnite welcomes 2 heroes from the film Across the Spider-Verse: Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2099. Each costs 1,500 V-Bucks, and the 'Across the Spider-Verse' bundle brings them together for 2,600 V-Bucks. Miles comes with an Earth-1610 style and an Unmasked style; Spider-Man 2099 arrives with his 2099 Web Cape. The launch takes the form of a duel. From 18 to 23/05/2023, the 'Web Battles' event asks you to pick a side, Team Miles or Team 2099, then score 40 points across 5 daily challenges. The reward, with nothing to pay: the Spider-Ham Mallet pickaxe, otherwise sold at 1,000 V-Bucks, and the 'That's Your Mallet' emote. Here the game follows the cinema calendar closely. These 2 skins last appeared in the shop on 28/02/2025, and nothing today makes their return predictable. In the meantime, the Miles Morales collection and the Spider-Verse products keep these 2 characters within reach, from desk to bedroom, without depending on the shop's nightly rotation or on your V-Bucks balance.

From 2024 to 2026: Iron Spider, Spider-Punk and Brand New Day

The run picks up again in Chapter 5 Season 4 with Iron Spider, in the shop on 24/08/2024 and described in game as 'Spider-Man, in a high-tech Stark suit custom-built by Tony'. The 2,000 V-Bucks bundle includes the Arachno-Arms back bling, the Arachno-Jet glider and the Iron Spider Gauntlets; the full pack goes up to 2,600 V-Bucks. Spider-Woman, alias Jessica Drew, follows on 21/10/2024: 1,500 V-Bucks, or 2,500 V-Bucks in a bundle.

On 07/12/2024, in Chapter 6 Season 1, 3 more Spider-Verse heroes arrive together: Peter B. Parker, Spider-Man Noir and Spider-Punk. Each has his own bag: Mayday's Changing Bag, Spider-Man Noir's Briefcase, Hobie's Amp. The 'Spider-Gang' bundle cost 3,800 V-Bucks, instead of 6,400 bought separately. According to the game wiki, Spider-Punk changes colour when he eliminates a player or opens a chest. On the comics side, the article on the Web Warriors extends this cast.

The most recent one goes with the film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, in a collaboration that also brings in Hulk and the Punisher. The skin arrives with update v41.30 on 30/07/2026 and appears in the shop on 31/07/2026. It takes up Tom Holland's costume, and its unmasked style shows his face. Expect 1,500 V-Bucks with the Arachno-Pack back bling; the 'Brand New Day' bundle, at 2,400 V-Bucks, also adds the Punisher and his pickaxe.

His in-game description fits in one line: 'The unknown neighbourhood spider.' This skin returned to the shop up to 16/08/2026, with no announced return date; Iron Spider was last seen there on 25/01/2026, Spider-Woman on 13/11/2025. Web-shooters, the Spider-Man item that comes and goes

The skin is only part of the story. On 11/12/2021 at 16:00 Paris time, Spider-Man's Web-Shooters arrive as a mythic item: you aim at the scenery to swing, with no fall damage, and you pull objects towards you as if with a harpoon. You then swing across the buildings, including the Daily Bugle. You find them caught in webs, then in chests during the 'Amazing Web Week' of March 2022, before they were removed the following season.

They then come back in other forms. In Chapter 4 Season 2, Spider-Verse Web-Shooters, with a Miles Morales look, go with the season of the film's skins. For Brand New Day, the web-shooters return with the update of 30/07/2026, are pulled by a hotfix a few hours later, then put back in the game on 01/08/2026, with unlimited uses. You pick them up from the Spider-Man backpacks stuck to the walls, or for 2,000 bars from the Spider-Man character, at The Battlewoods.

Before promising an afternoon of swinging, check in the game: Chapter 7 Season 3 ended on 20/08/2026, and the wiki page for the following season, 'Override', files the web-shooters among the removed items. Do not confuse them with the Grapple Glove, a grappling glove with no Marvel licence. Off screen, Spider-Man toys take over so the swinging can be replayed in the living room, far from the rotation of the seasons.

From skin to costume: what these choices say about younger fans

This timeline says something about the character's place among younger fans. Epic lined up several skins with the films: No Way Home, Across the Spider-Verse, then Brand New Day. Parents: PEGI age rating, in-game purchases and the gaming corner

On age, the rule changed on 16/11/2023. PEGI no longer rates Fortnite as a whole at PEGI 12: the platform carries the 'Parental Guidance Recommended' label, because content created by players may not suit young children. Each internal game has its own rating. Battle Royale, the mode these Spider-Man skins belong to, is PEGI 12 for moderate violence: no blood, damage shown in figures, defeated characters who vanish.

LEGO Fortnite Odyssey is rated PEGI 7, for non-realistic violence in a child-friendly world, and the game wiki indicates that most Spider-Man skins have a LEGO style there. Fortnite Festival is PEGI 12, because of bad language and the lyrics of some songs. The game stays playable without buying anything, but PEGI flags in-game purchases.
