The short answer
Avengers Campus, which opened in 2022, brings together two highlights built around the web-slinger: an interactive ride where sensors turn your gestures into web shots against the Spider-Bots, and meet-and-greets with the hero punctuated by aerial stunts. The behind-the-scenes detail is just below.

Spider-Man at Disneyland Paris: total immersion at Avengers Campus
Since the opening of Avengers Campus at Disneyland Paris in 2022, fans of Spider-Man finally have somewhere to live the adventure alongside their favourite hero. More than a simple attraction, it is an immersive experience that propels you into the heart of the action, in a Marvel universe rich in detail, references and emotion.
The heart of this experience is WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, a one-of-a-kind interactive ride where every visitor plays a member of the Worldwide Engineering Brigade. Your mission? Help Peter Parker stop an invasion of Spider-Bots threatening to destroy the Avengers campus. Thanks to cutting-edge technology, you fire virtual webs… with your own hands!
What makes this experience unforgettable is the combination of storytelling, special effects and physical interaction. Unlike an ordinary rollercoaster, you are part of the story: your gestures, your speed and your precision directly influence your final score. The most competitive visitors can even compare their performances through the park’s official app.
Away from the ride, Spider-Man makes regular spectacular appearances around the park. He performs aerial acrobatics worthy of the best films, chats with visitors and happily poses for souvenir photos. A unique opportunity for fans of every generation, whether they grew up with Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield or Tom Holland.
To carry the experience on at home, our Spider-Man figurine collection offers models inspired directly by Avengers Campus and the Marvel films. Ideal for recreating your favourite scenes or completing your collection.

The secrets of WEB SLINGERS: technology and immersion
The WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure ride is far more than a simple interactive ride. It is a blend of technology and storytelling designed so that every visitor genuinely feels like Peter Parker.
The major innovation lies in its motion-capture system, with no controller or accessory. Ultra-precise sensors detect the position of your arms and wrists, analyse your movements and translate your gestures into web shots on the immersive screen in real time. A world first in a Disney park.
The interior set is packed with references to the Marvel universe. You can spot, for example, the laboratory of the Worldwide Engineering Brigade with prototype gadgets signed by Tony Stark and nods to other Avengers. Attentive fans will also recognise elements linked to the Spider-Verse.
The experience is designed to be replayed: the routes vary, the waves of Spider-Bots are never the same, and your score can always be improved. That creates a strong urge to come back… and this is where the Disney magic works.
For those who want to extend the experience, there are even connected accessories sold in the park, such as the Spider-Man web-shooters which, once synced, unlock new powers on the ride. A brilliant idea that blends physical souvenirs with interactivity.

Meeting Spider-Man in person: an unforgettable moment
If the WEB SLINGERS ride lets you play the hero, nothing beats the thrill of meeting Spider-Man in the flesh at the heart of Avengers Campus. Coming face to face with Spidey, exchanging a few words or taking a photo is one of the moments visitors want most.
The meet-and-greet takes place in a set worthy of a Marvel comic: walls covered in webs, gadgets hanging overhead and even a few captured Spider-Bots. Spider-Man takes the time to talk to every fan, whether they are wide-eyed young children or adults who have followed his adventures since his earliest story arcs.
The interactions are often full of humour: Spider-Man mimes a web shot, asks visitors who their favourite hero is, or improvises iconic poses for the photos. To make the moment even more special, many fans wear a Spider-Man costume or a t-shirt with his emblem.
The Avengers Campus as a whole is designed as a living set. Between two meet-ups with Spidey, you might run into Iron Man, Captain Marvel or Black Panther, watch live stunts on the building façades, or explore shops full of Spider-Man posters and exclusive merchandise.
